We Heart Homemade Pizza!

We Heart Homemade Pizza!

Hey there!   This last weekend, we decided to make pizza from scratch.  Well, almost from scratch …we used  this prepared dough from Wegmans:

Wegmans Pizza Dough

Wegmans is our ABSOLUTE FAVORITE grocery store and it was super easy to make the pizza with this dough.  Basically all we did was bring the dough to room temperature for a little over an hour, roll out the dough, add the toppings and then bake it in the oven for 20 minutes.   It was YUM.

Tom and I made a pizza with all the toppings we like and Ashley made one for herself.  Worked out great because everyone got the toppings they love.

In anticipation of Valentines Day, Ashley made her pizza in the shape of a heart.

And if you really wanna go all out, check this post out on Makezine where they not only shaped the dough into a heart but also made heart-shaped pepperoni!

Being creative with food is an awesome way to express your creativity, plus you get to eat it after you make it!

I hope a few of you decide to make some heart pizzas for Valentine’s Day as well.  We’re working on some other Cupid Day crafts, so stay tuned for those!

Yesterday I made this my Facebook Cover photo: When I posted this new cover, I stated that my New Year’s resolution was to have and spread more of these 3 things in 2015 — play, laughter, and joy.   ESPECIALLY JOY. Because as the new year rolled in and I reflected on 2014, IContinue Reading
