Hi there friends!!! Yes…whether we like it or not, Valentine’s Day will be here in just a few short days.
But don’t you worry about whether you’ll be getting flowers from your sweetheart, because I’ve got a super easy way to make your very own flower using just a little bit of fabric! And better yet, you can use the flower as a super cute clip for your planner!
I made the one for my planner using some scrap material I had on hand:
And if this looks familiar to you, it’s probably because you’ve seen these flowers in my changeable wreaths:
All you need to make this pretty fabric flower clip is your trusty glue gun and some scrap material that you have on hand or purchase from a craft or fabric store. (Click here for my detailed tutorial.)
So after you’ve made your flower, all you need to do is then cut out a small piece of fabric for the back of the flower, slip a paper clip between the flower and the back piece, and then hot-glue everything together:
And Voila! Now you’ve got yourself a beautiful flower clip for your planner!
And for those of you that know me, you know by now I just didn’t stop with the flower clip! I of course had to make a bunch of other planner accessories for my February spread:
Check back in a couple of days and I’ll show you all the other fun accessories in my February planner spread.
In the meantime, go round up that fabric and glue gun and get to work making your pretty flowers!
Ciao for now!
